Accepted Forms of Online Payment

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  We must have a credit card on file for any Block of the Month program member that requests regular shipping.

Cheques

If you would like to mail in a cheque for your order, please let us know.  We will ship items after payment is received and cleared.

Shipping and Handling

When you order from us, your shipping will be FREE if you purchase $100 or more.  For purchases under $100, shipping charges will be applied.

Most orders ship out the next business day via Canada Post using Priority Post Service.

K&A Quilt Studio reserves the right to cancel an order and refund your money at any time for any reason.

Returns

In order to be eligible for a refund, you must notify K&A Quilt Studio within 3 business days from receipt of your order.  Any returns must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase.  All returns should be in original condition and packaging and include proof of purchase.  Cut yardage, copyrighted materials (books and patterns), and sale items cannot be returned. A 15% restocking fee will apply to all return orders.  Postage fees are non-refundable.  Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  Refunds will be provided in the form of a store credit, less the restocking charge.

In the unlikely event of packing errors or damaged merchandise, please call K&A Quilt Studio immediately and we will work out the details on a case-by-case basis.

Block of the Month

When you register for any of our Block of the Month programs, it is understood that you are registering for the entire program.  We will abide by this policy and prepare a kit for you each month with the understanding that you will remain in the program for the duration. If you must cancel out of any block of the month program, there may be a cancellation fee.  We require a credit card number on file and will charge your card each month for the monthly cost of your program plus shipping and handling. Programs vary; please read each program for length of program and associated shipping and handling costs. Block of the Month fees are non-refundable.

Terms of enrolment for on-site BOM classes will be set forth in the program description(s) when offered.  Please refer to these policies when applicable.

Shipping Rates for Block of the Month Programs

All Block of the Month kits sent within Canada are shipped via Canada Post (rates are subject to change based on postal rate increases).  Please contact us directly if you wish to know current rates prior to shipping.

We currently do not ship outside Canada.

Fabric

Fabrics not sold as part of a kit are sold by the metre.  Our minimum cut is ½ MTR (0.5) unless otherwise indicated.  Sale fabrics require a minimum 1 MTR cut.

Cancellations

There are no refunds for cancellations of special events less than two weeks prior to any special event including retreats and instructor-led classes.  Some events may have an earlier “no refunds after” date. Please review this information carefully before signing up for any event.

HST

All items are subject to applicable HST.

Privacy Policy

K&A Quilt Studio will always keep all customer information confidential.  We will never sell or share any information with outside parties under any circumstances.

Important things to know about class/event registrations:

  • Space is limited, so please indicate your interest as early as possible. If minimum enrolment is not reached, the class will be cancelled.
  • Payment is required upon registration to reserve your space. See class/event descriptions for registration and payment details.
  • HST will be added to all pricing.
  • In consideration of those who may have allergies, the Studio endeavours to be a scent-free space.
